UI/UX Design for Web and Mobile Products

Interface and experience design grounded in how people actually behave — research, wireframes, high-fidelity Figma designs, interactive prototypes and design systems that stay consistent as the product grows.

  • Figma prototypes you can tap
  • Accessible by default (WCAG)
  • Design systems that scale

Design is what people mean when they say a product is good

Users do not evaluate your architecture. They judge whether they could find the button, whether the form made sense, and whether the app felt fast. That judgement happens in seconds and it determines whether they come back.

Good design is also the cheapest stage at which to be wrong. Changing a screen in Figma takes an afternoon; changing it after it is built and shipped takes a sprint. We resolve the hard questions in design, before they are expensive.

Designed to be built

Because we also build, we do not hand over designs that cannot be implemented economically. Every design ships with the states developers actually need — loading, empty, error, long text, small screens — instead of only the perfect case.

For products that will keep growing, we build a design system: documented components, type scale, spacing and colour tokens, so the twentieth screen still looks like it belongs with the first.

What design work covers

From understanding the user to a documented system your developers can build straight from.

Research & user flows

Who uses this, what they are trying to achieve, and the shortest path to it. Mapped before anything is drawn.

Wireframes

Structure and hierarchy resolved in low fidelity, so decisions about content and priority are not hidden behind visual polish.

Visual design

High-fidelity screens in Figma — typography, colour, spacing and iconography applied consistently across every state.

Interactive prototypes

Clickable prototypes you can test on a real device and put in front of real users before a line of code is written.

Design systems

A documented component library with tokens for colour, type and spacing, so the product stays coherent as it grows.

Accessibility

Contrast, touch target sizes, focus states, keyboard navigation and screen reader semantics checked against WCAG.

How a design engagement runs

A predictable sequence with fixed scope and no hourly surprises.

  1. Discovery

Business goals, user goals and constraints. We look at what exists today and where people currently get stuck.

  2. Flows & wireframes

The structure of the product agreed in low fidelity, where changes are cheap and the conversation stays about substance.

  3. Visual direction

Two or three directions applied to a real screen — not abstract mood boards — so you choose based on the actual product.

  4. Full screen design

Every screen and every state designed in Figma, including the awkward ones: errors, empty states and long content.

  5. Prototype & test

An interactive prototype put in front of real users, with findings folded back into the designs.

  6. Developer handover

Specifications, exported assets, tokens and documented components — whether we build it or your own team does.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between UI and UX design?

UX is the structure and decision-making: who the user is, what they are trying to do, and how the product is organised to get them there. UI is the visible layer: layout, typography, colour, iconography and interaction detail. A product needs both — strong UI over weak UX produces something attractive that nobody can use.

Can you design something for our own developers to build?

Yes. Design-only engagements are common. You receive a Figma file with every screen and state, exported assets, spacing and colour tokens and documented components, so any competent development team can build from it without guessing.

Can you redesign our existing website or app?

Yes. We start by reviewing what exists and, where analytics are available, where users are dropping off. Redesigns are most successful when driven by specific evidence rather than a general feeling that it looks dated — we help identify that evidence first.

Do you do branding and logo design too?

We handle brand application for digital products — colour systems, typography, iconography and the visual language of the interface — and can produce a logo as part of a wider identity engagement. If you already have brand guidelines we work within them.

How long does the design phase take?

A focused product typically runs a few weeks from discovery to developer handover. Larger platforms take longer, though we usually sequence design so development can begin on approved sections while later screens are still being designed.
